Washburn University is seeking to promote student success, particularly in the first-year transition from high school to university studies, by introducing students to the concept of Information Literacy as a crucial skill in the Information Age. Therefore, our organizational chart reflects this instutional commitment to the First-Year Experience, student success broadly defined through the use of retention and graduation rates, and the Libraries role therein.
The organizational chart of Washburn's University Libraries and the Center for Student Success and Retention is best described as a living document, one that is frequently updated to reflect the reality of current circumstance and institutional need. As such, returning to it regularly to ensure that one has the most current version is always a good idea.
