Accessing Washburn-Sponsored Wall Street Journal Membership

Returning users scroll down for instructions.

First Time Users: Begin at https://wsj.com/washburn. This will direct you to Washburn's single sign on page where you should enter your Washburn email address and password (WUAD credentials). 

After verifying your Washburn credentials, you will be directed to WSJ.com to create your account. You will be responsible for completing the following fields:
• Account Type: Professor, Staff or Student
• First & Last Name
• Email Address
• Password
• Graduation Month & Year (Students Only)
Please note that your email address and password will become your login credentials when accessing content directly on WSJ.com or using our WSJ app.

After successfully creating an account, you will be redirected to WSJ’s confirmation page.
Click on “Okay, Let’s Go” to customize your experience.


Returning Users - Students: Access your existing account by logging in at https://wsj.com or on the WSJ app with your WSJ credentials. If you forget your WSJ username or password, use the links at the bottom of the sign in page to recover/reset it.

Returning Users - Faculty & Staff: Faculty and staff will need to refresh their access to WSJ content each year to confirm they are still affiliated with Washburn University. The first time you access your WSJ account after April 15, 2020, please Refresh your account using your Washburn email address and password. Then use your WSJ credentials to login at https://wsj.com or on the WSJ app. You will be reminded by email to refresh your account 1 year from the last refresh.
