To search the holdings of Mabee Library for books, DVDs, music CDs, videos, Internet sites and government documents use the Encore Library Catalog. This catalog searches the collections of five libraries in Topeka, the 'ATLAS' consortium.
Search tips:
Type a keyword(s) or search phrase into the Encore search box, such as medical ethics.
CHECK SHELVES means the item is available for checkout. WU Library Stacks tells the location of the item. In this case, it is on the 3rd floor. R724 .B515 2007 is the Library of Congress call number for the item. It tells you where you can find the book, DVD or other item on the shelves.
Use the FORMAT options along the left side of the screen to narrow your search to DVDs.
Use the COLLECTION options along the left side of the screen to narrow your search to e-books and other online, electronic resources.
Mabee Library organizes the book collection using the Library of Congress Classification System, which is a combination of letters and numbers.
Follow the link below to see the letters which are used for different subject areas.
Search in Mabee Library's ENCORE Online Catalogue. Select 'ADVANCED SEARCH'. Type in a subject, author, title, etc. and then limit the 'MATERIAL TYPE' to 'PROJECTED MEDIUM'. This will limit your results to just videos (DVDs/VHS/Streaming Videos).
