Washburn University is pleased to partner with EAB as a member in the Student Success Collaborative.
More about what membership in the SSC means is available at the following link: http://www.washburn.edu/ssc
In this LibGuide, my goal is to answer a couple of questions that increasingly come my way as the SSC Project Manager at Washburn University so here goes:
1. Yes, membership is a strategic priority for Washburn University. We are entering the third phase of our student success project, this one focused upon increasing the on-time graduation of students and it is our belief that membership in the SSC will greatly aid in said initiative. Our goal is to use the research and best practices that we gain access to as members of the Collaborative to continually improve our student success planning and efforts, and to use the technology applications to allow faculty and staff alike to spend less time on tasks and more time with students.
2. Yes, one of our goals is to better link campus offices focused upon student success together. The best explanation of this initiative is a visual one, so please see the two boxes below to better picture the Washburn University Coordinated Care Network.
